The second event of the 2021 Grand Chess Tour, the Paris Rapid & Blitz, finished in the capital of France. On June 22, the participants played the final part of blitz. After winning the rapid part, Wesley So finished first in blitz to win the whole tournament as well. Alireza Firouzja is second in blitz, whilst Ian Nepomniachtchi is on the third place. In the final standings, Ian Nepomniachtchi won silver. Maxime Vachier-Lagrave and Alireza Firouzja shared third place.
